సుదీర్ఘ కాలం పదోన్నతి అవకాశాలు రాని వారికి Automatic Advancement pay/scheme (AAS) 6/12/18/24/30 అమలు చేయాలి

AAS అనేది 1980-1985 మధ్యలో ప్రవేశ పెట్టారు.

మొదట ఇది 10, 15, 22 ఏళ్లుగా ఉండేది.

తరువాత 8, 16, 24 గా

6, 12, 18, 24 గా మారింది. ఇటీవల PRC లో అదనంగా 30 చేర్చారు. 

ఒకే క్యాడర్ లో ఆరు సంవత్సరాల సర్వీస్ పూర్తి చేసుకున్న ప్రతీ వారు (ఇంక్రిమెంట్ కు పరిగణించే సర్వీస్) స్పెషల్ గ్రేడ్ స్కేల్ పొందుతారు. 

12 ఏళ్ళు పూర్తి చేసుకుని పదోన్నతికి అర్హతలు కలిగి ఉన్నవారికి పదోన్నతి వచ్చే పోస్ట్ స్కేల్ ఇస్తారు.

24 ఏళ్ళు పూర్తి చేసుకుని రెండో స్థాయి పదోన్నతికి ఆర్హత కలిగిన వారు ఆ రెండో స్థాయి పోస్ట్ స్కేల్ పొందుతారు. 

ఇలా 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 సంవత్సరాల సర్వీస్ పూర్తి చేసుకున్నపుడు ఒక్కో ఇంక్రిమెంట్ కు సమానమైన బెనిఫిట్ కలుగుతుంది. 

అరేళ్ళకి ప్రత్యేక అర్హతలు అవసరం లేకపోయినా 12, 18 కు నెక్స్ట్ పదోన్నతికి, 24, 30 ఆ తరువాత పోస్టు పదోన్నతికి అర్హతలు కలిగి ఉండాలి. 

ఇది కేవలం అర్హతలు ఉండి పదోన్నతి అవకాశం రాకపోతే మాత్రమే ఇస్తారు. పదోన్నతి అవకాశం ఉండి వద్దనుకుంటే AAS లబ్ది కూడా కలగదు.

            Automatic Advancement Scheme AAS is an automatic benefit/increment to those who, despite having promotion qualifications and eligibility, do not get promotion in time, due to non-availability of those promotion posts/vacancies, they are unable to get them. It is called automatic advancement.

        This scheme has been extended to the teachers working in the schools of Government, Municipalities, Municipal Corporations, Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samithees and also Aided Management by issuing orders vide G.O.Ms.No.164, Finance, and Planning (FW.P.R.C.-I) Department, date: 1-6-1982 & G.O.Ms.No.78, Finance and Planning (FW.P.R.C.–I) Department, date: 13-3-1984. AS per this scheme.

The AAS has four slabs:

• Special Grade Post Scale

  Employees are appointed to this scale after completing six years of service in a particular post.
• Special Promotion Post Scale I-A

  Employees are appointed to this scale after completing 12 years of service in a particular post.
• Special Promotion Post Scale I-B

  Employees are appointed to this scale after completing 18 years of service.
• Special Adhoc Promotion Post Scale I-B

  Employees are appointed to this scale after completing 24 years of service
